Hartwig, Aaron Michael (14 JUL 1996 - 7 MAR 2016)
Aaron Michael Hartwig, age 19, of N2090 Robin Drive, Medford, died on March 7,
2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday March 11, 2016 at Zion
Lutheran Church, Stetsonville, with Rev. James Babler officiating. Interment
will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday March 10, 2016, 4-7:00 PM, Hemer Funeral Home,
Medford Chapel, and also on Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, from 10:00 AM until
the time of services at 11:00.
Aaron was born on April 28, 1996, Marshfield, to Joseph and Tina Hartwig,
Medford.
He graduated from Medford Area Senior High School in 2014.
Aaron was currently working in Assembling at Meyer Manufacturing in Dorchester.
While in high school, Aaron wrestled all 4 years and truly excelled, at one
point in his career he was ranked #7 in the state of Wisconsin. He enjoyed
playing sports especially wrestling, softball and bowling, and was a member of
several softball and bowling leagues in the area. He had a passion for the
outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, and snowmobile. Aaron loved his Black
Labrador, Nala, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Stetsonville.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Tina Hartwig of Medford, brother, Kole
Hartwig of Medford, grandparents, Lee and Sarah Giugler of Braceville, IL,
Richard and Elizabeth “Betty” Hartwig of Medford; numerous Aunts and Uncles, and
many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Aaron may be made to The
Wrestling Club at Medford Area Sr. High.
