Grosskreutz, Otto "Hunce" (17 SEP 1936 - 7 MAR 2016)
Otto "Hunce" Grosskreutz passed away at the age of 78 on March 7 at home. Otto
was born on September 17, 1936 to Otto and Ester (Rachu) Grosskreutz.
He married Susan Marzynski on March 28, 1978. Otto was preceded in death by his
parents and a brother Gordon.
His siblings include Virginia Hierlmeier, Oregon; Lucina Punke, Madison; Vernice
Engeseth, Deforest; and LaVern Grosskreutz, Milwaukee.
Otto worked for the Marathon County Park Dept for 28 years. His favorite past
time was hunting and fishing, catching many fish which he shared with family and
friends.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Saint Stephens
Lutheran Church Edgar. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the
service all at the church.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to all the staff at
Asprius Cancer Center and Comfort Care and Hospice Service as well as Dr. Thomas
Stoffel and Dr. Christopher Peterson for the compassionate care given to Otto.
