Sylvester Champa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Champa, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.),
will be among the Cum Laude graduates of Bemidji State College, who will be
awarded Bachelor of Science degrees at the commencement exercises to be held
Sunday, June 8, 1959 at 8 p.m. at the Bemidji State College auditorium.
Mr. Champa has majored in science and physical education. He has starred in
football, wrestling and baseball, and was voted the most valuable lineman award
in 1958. In wrestling he was voted second best wrestler in the conference.
Mr. Champa was awarded a year's fellowship for graduate school at Sothern
Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois, staring September 1959.
