First Communion was received at 5:00 Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Sunday, May 24th, 1959 by the following:

• Kathleen Schindler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schindler.
• Thomas Kmiec, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Kmiec
• James Steffen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Steffen.
• Duane Briski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Briski.
• James Gregorich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gregorich.
• Robert Mickett, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Mickett.

They were enrolled in the scapular immediately after the Mass by Rev. Father Edward Hartung, pastor.
