Miss Doris Ampe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Ampe, was awarded a Bachelor of
Science degree in Education at Viterbo College Commencement Exercises, La
Crosse, on Saturday, May 30, 1959. The event was held in the beautiful Maria
Angelorum Chapel, where each graduate was greeted by Bishop Treacy, as she
received her diploma.
Miss Ampe has one and one-half years of teaching to her credit and has accepted
a new position with the Milwaukee School System at Hales Corners for the next
two years. She will teach fourth grade.
