Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Lueck entertained Sunday in honor of their daughter, Donna, who was confirmed that morning at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Christie. Guests were Pastor and Mrs. Stuebs and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boon and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Erickson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wally Quicker and family, William Lueck, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Helwig, Mrs. Bruce Opelt and family, Linda Lueck and Mark Hemp.

Mr. and Mrs. William Neuhaus of St. Paul, Mn, and their houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fontana of Hindenburg Place, Germany, visited from Friday to Monday with Mrs. Leonard Wachholz and also called on Mr. and Mrs. William Simek. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gault and Mrs. Mary Simek of Wausau visited at the William Simek home Sunday.
