Richard Rohde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rohde, has been selected as one of
the four outstanding members of the Future Farmers of America in the State by
the Wisconsin Association of Cooperatives. Individuals are selected on the basis
of their academic work, participation in FFA and extracurricular activities and
participation in cooperative activities within the local FFA Chapter, school and
community.
Richard graduated this past spring from the Greenwood Community Schools, where
he was active in the FFA for four years, athletics and forensics. This fall he
will enroll at River Falls State College to major in Agriculture.
As a state winner, he will be awarded an all expense trip to the American
Institute of Cooperatives at Urbana, Ill., from August 9-13.
