Wetzel, Enanda Theresa (22 MAY 1895 – 13 JUL 1959)
Mrs. Karl Wetzel, nee Enanda Theresa Behringer, daughter of Jacob Behringer and
Louisa (Schmidt) Behringer, was born May 22, 1895 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
The Wetzel family lived on a farm 6 miles northeast of Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.) until they moved to Loyal.
Mrs. Wetzel, who has been in poor health for some time, passed away at her home
in Loyal on Monday, July 13, 1959. The body was brought to the Hill Funeral
Home, where it lay in state from Tuesday afternoon until Thursday morning, when
it was taken to the church.
Funeral services were held at Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood, at 2:00 p.m. on
Thursday, July 16th. Rev. Mrs. Ethel Nulton, pastor, officiated. Burial was made
in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Wetzel is survived by her husband Karl; one daughter, Mrs. William (Auralia)
Atcherson, Unity; five sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Caroline) Graelle, Mrs. Clara Miller,
Mrs. Richard (Minnie) Hermann, all of Manitowoc; Mrs. Robert (Flora) Yandry,
Beloit; Mrs. Roy (Eva) Vogel, Wis. Rapids; two brothers, Hugo Behringer, Wausau;
Norman Behringer, Owen, and three grandchildren.
