On Monday, August 10, 1959 our Dr. Bill of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.),
delivered his 4,000th baby. The child was born to Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Marten of
Loyal.
Expectant parents were aware that the 4,000th mark was close and hoped to be
able to claim the distinction.
Number 3,999 was a baby girl born to Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Neuenfeldt, and number
4,001 was a born born to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vesel, both this city.
Twenty-six years ago, when Dr. Olson started practicing in Greenwood and
"Vicinity," he delivered a boy to Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah, for a Dr. Gaillardet,
who was also practicing here at that time. His first delivery to a patient of
his own was a baby girl named Ann Marie, to Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner. Ann is now
Mrs. Tom Larson of Hampton, Va., and has two daughters of her own.
We are indeed fortunate and proud to have a doctor so dedicated to his work and
community. We hope he will decided to stay with us for another 26 years.
Congratulations Dr. Bill!!
