Moen, Ruth Ann (13 AUG 1959)

On Thursday, August 13, 1959 at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church at Bakerville, Miss Ruth Ann Moen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Moen, R. 5, Marshfield, became the bride of Gerold Lyon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archi D. Lyon, Riplinger (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of imported French lace and tulle, styled with a lace bodice and skirt of lace, and set panels with appliques over a ruffled tulle underskirt. The Sabrina neckline was accented with iridescent sequins and her fingertip length veil fell from a queen's crown of pearls and sequins. Her flowers were white glomelias and stephanotis surrounding a purple orchid.

Mrs. Darlene Cammers was matron of honor, Miss Nancy Blawk, Greenwod and Mrs. Woodrow Schmitzler Jr., Riplinger, were bridesmaids. Mrs. Cammers wore a floor length gown of yellow nylon net ruffles with overskirt and matching jacket. The bridesmaids wore identically styled dresses in deep orchid. They carried bouquets of glomelias, tinted daisies and ivy.

Peggy Huebl was flower girl and Michael Moen was ring bearer.

Earl Cammers was best man and Robert Moen and Woodrow Schmitzler Jr. were groomsmen. Kenneth Moen and David Goetz were ushers.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at Our Lady of Peace Hall in Marshfield for immediate families and a reception and supper were also served there.
