Gregorich, John (17 JAN 1881 – 7 SEP 1959)

John Gregorich, son of John and Anna Gregorich, was born in Yugoslavia on January 17, 1881. Here he grew to manhood and came to the United States in 1901. He returned to Yugoslavia and was married there to Mary Petric on February 5, 1905.

They came to the United States in 1907 and settled in Iowa. On February 23, 1923 the family came to the Willard (Clark Co., Wis.) area, where they have since resided.

Mr. Gregorich passed away at the Havenet Nursing Home, Monday, September 7, 1959. He had been a patient there for the past few weeks. The body was brought to the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood.

Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Thursday afternoon. A Rosary will be said Thursday at 8:00 p.m.

A Requiem Mass will be read at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Father Aloysius Madic, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Gregorich is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Tony (Mary) Kezel, Chicago; Mrs. Albert (Christine) Bukovich, Greenwood; four sons, Joseph and Matt, Greenwood; Ed, Chicago, Leo, Willard; 26 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph, Beaver Dam; three sisters, Mrs. Nick Knazovich and Mrs. Mary Popovich, Hibbing, Minn.; Mrs. Anna Novak, Chicago.
