Wehrman, Gustav (15 SEP 1895 – 9 SEP 1959)
Gus Wehrman, son of William and Henrietta (Klemme) Wehrman, was born in the town
of Warner, Clark County, Wisconsin, on September 15, 1895. He received his
education here, and in 1919 he went to Park Falls.
On June 5, 1920 he was married to Bernice Smith at Park Falls and resided there
since their marriage.
Mr. Wehrman, who has been ill for some time, passed away at a Veterans Hospital
at Iron Mounty, Michigan on Wednesday, September 9, 1959.
Funeral services were conducted at the Hornby Funeral Home at Park Falls on
Saturday, September 12th. Rev. Ralph Burlingham officiated. Burial was made in
the Nola Cemetery at Park Falls.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Curtiss, Milwaukee; Lawrence and Norman,
Park Falls; five brothers, Oscar and Simon, Greenwood; William, Loyal; Ted,
Sheboygan; Walter, Belgrade, Montana; four sisters, Mrs. Ted (Emma) Hium,
Greenwood; Mrs. Ed (Minnie) Karnitz, Barron; Mrs. Alphonse (Elsie) Ampe,
Rudolph; and Mrs. Pauline Bellamy, Corpus Christi, Texas, and 7 grandchildren.
