Miss Joan Metcalf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Metcalf, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Ralph Groenke, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Groenke of New Germany, Minnesota, were married Friday, September 4, 1959 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minn., by Rev. Paulie.

The bride wore a beige suit with brown accessories and her corsage was of pink roses.

Miss Edna Ziegler and Mr. Harlin Harelstad of Minneapolis were the couple's only attendants. Miss Ziegler wore a navy blue suit with light blue accessories and her corsage was of yellow roses.

The bride is a graduate of Greenwood High School and Mr. Groenke was graduated from Central High School, Norwood, Minnesota. Both are employed in Minneapolis.

They are now residing at 3728 Pillsbury Ave. S., Minneapolis, Minn. They spent their honeymoon in northern Minnesota.
