Rebecca Peroshek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peroshek, portrayed the role of
Frieda Jesne, wife of a college student in the Wisconsin State College, Eau
Claire production of "Tall Story," which opened October 12, and closed October
17.
Rebecca is aa sophomore speech and English major and intends to teach both in
secondary education.
Rebecca is wardrobe mistress in the costume department of the college theater
and has the duties of organizing and managing the costumes worn for each play –
ordering, sewing, storing, etc.
During her freshman year at college Becky appeared as the laundress in the
"Tiger at the Gate" and Mrs. William Dudgeon in "The Devil's Disciple." She
served on the costume crew of "The Devil's Disciple" and the production and
costume committees of "The Boy Friend."
Becky spent the summer of 1957 working in summer stock at the Belley(?) Theater,
Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. She appeared in two plays – "Angel Charles" and
"Mousetrap." Working backstage – painting scenery, working props, costuming,
lighting and sound – was part of her summer.
She is a member of Pi Kappa Delta, honorary speech fraternity, and was elected
historian for 1959-1960.
