Madison, Wis. – Jeffery Hoehne of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) is among 67
students at the University of Wisconsin who have been awarded sophomore honors
or high honors for the excellence of their work in the State University's
College of Engineering.
Dean Kurt F. Wendt, in announcing the names of the 67 engineering students who
earned honors or high honors, pointed out that honors are awarded to those
students who have done a minimum of two years' work with not less than 60
credits completed in the University, with a high point average resting between 3
and 4 grade points per credit of study taken. A grade point average of 4.0 would
mean perfect grades in all studies.
Jeffery earned sophomore honors for the outstanding work in his mechanical
engineering studies.
Jeff is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hoehne of this city.
