Gebert, Kenneth Fred “Bud” (29 JUL 1924 - ? MAR 2016)

Kenneth Fred “Bud” Gebert, age 91, of Country Gardens, 635 Cedar Street, Medford, WI, passed away at Aspirus Care and Rehab, Unit 2.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday March 16, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville, WI, with Father Michael Hayden officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Little Black, WI, with his nephews as pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday March 16, 9:30 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville.

Kenneth was born on July 29, 1924 in the Town of Little Black, WI, to Fred and Josephine (Peissig) Gebert.

He was a graduate of Dorchester High School.

Bud owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Little Black. Following his retirement from the farm he held various small jobs throughout the area. He loved to go fishing, travel to casinos, and was an avid bowler for over 60 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville.

He is survived by his siblings, Melvin & Patricia Gebert of Medford, Donald & Marge of Franklin, WI, Eugene & Leona Gebert of Medford, Fred & Rosanne Gebert of Meridian, Idaho, Dale & Mary Gebert of Hazelhurst, WI; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Chuck MacGuire of Wisconsin Rapids, Caroline Gebert of Arbor Vitae, Clarence & Dolly Schriener of Athens.

He is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Josephine (Peissig) Gebert; siblings, James Gebert, Anita MacGuire, Nancy Schriener.

Memorial donations in honor of Kenneth Fred “Bud” Gebert, may given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
