Klingbeil, Reinhart H. “Reiny” (24 SEP 1923 - 23 AUG 2010)

Reinhart H. “Reiny” Klingbeil, age 86, of 1134 Broadway Avenue Medford City of Medford resident, died on Monday, August 23 at his residence.

The funeral mass will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 26 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford with Father Gerard Willger, Father Dennis Meulemans and Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating.

Interment will be at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Medford where full military honors will be performed by the Medford Area Military Honors Team. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Nick Raedel, Alex and Eric Ertl, Pete, Sam and Nate Klingbeil.

Visitation will be at 10:30 A.M. until 12:45 P.M. Thursday, August 26 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford.

Rheinhart was born on September 24, 1923 at Milladore, Wood County, WI, to Reinhardt A. and Martha M. (Pavlik) Klingbeil.

He was a 1941 graduate of Medford High School.

On June 19, 1946, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford he married Audrey Wesle. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2008.

After High School Reiny worked at the family business Klingbeil Lumber in Medford until he joined the U.S. Air Force from 1943-1946 in the 35th Photo Squadron in the South Pacific where he was one of the last surviving members. Upon his return from the military he owned Klingbeil Lumber with his brother Ray until his retirement in 1985. He enjoyed restoring player pianos and pump organs. Reiny also enjoyed handcrafting folk instruments. He was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking. Most of all Reiny enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, Knights of Columbus #1744 Medford Council, Klossner-Dietzler VFW Post #5729, Medford, Landua-Jensen American Legion Post #147, Medford. Reinhart was also a founding member of Black River Industries, Medford.

Rheinhart is survived by his children, Mary (John) Raedel of Eau Claire, Nancy (Pat) Perini of Hilliard, Ohio and Diane (Jim) Ertl of Rosemount, MN, Bill (Margie), Mike (Sandra), Daniel and Tim (Tracy) Klingbeil all of Medford, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Ray (Marguerite) Klingbeil of Medford; Joyce (Bill) Baker of Medford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Reinhardt A. and Martha M. (Pavlik) Klingbeil; son Steven in August of 2008; siblings, twin brother Bernhardt and brother: Jack.
