Gosse, Nancy Patricia (Kawa) (6 JAN 1962 - 11 MAR 2016)

Nancy Patricia (Kawa) Gosse, 54, of Medford died Friday, March 11 at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living in Medford after a courageous battle with cancer.

Nancy was born on January 6, 1962 in Medford to Walter and Rita Kawa. She was a 1980 graduate of Medford High School.

Nancy was employed with Deerview Meadows Assisted Living as a CNA and assistant administrator.

Nancy married the love of her life, Steven Gosse, on September 3, 1982 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville.

Nancy and Steve were blessed with two children, Tracy (Richard) Price and Davis (Jessica) Gosse, all of Medford. She had five grandchildren, Chloe, Tristan and Lidianian Price, and Zachary and Jax Gosse, all of Medford.

Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Carol Gosse, her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and countless other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rita Kawa, and her father-in-law, Merle Gosse.

Nancy enjoyed camping, reading and making amazing cakes. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

Friends of Nancy Gosse may call on Saturday, March 19th from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville where there will be a 3:00 P.M. memorial prayer service conducted by Rev. David Clements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for future designation.

The family wishes to offer a very special thank you to Audrey Homer and the entire staff of Deerview Meadows. Nancy dedicated 18 years to the staff and residents that came through those doors. She gave her whole heart and soul to everyone there. When she needed a place to be cared for in her final days, she was welcomed back there without a second thought. You gave her the gift of spending her final days in the place that was the next best place to home for her. Your love and care has been beyond words. Nancy would be beyond proud of all of you.
