Soreson, James Oscar (20 AUG 1953 - 10 JAN 2016)

James Oscar Soreson was born August 20, 1953, at Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, IL. He lost his battle with Cancer on Feb. 26 at Golden Living Center, Rib Lake.

Jim attended Roosevelt Grammar School in Broadview, Ill. He also attended High school and achieved his GED.

Jim loved and worked for many years at the Fire Alarm in Berwyn Ill., drove a truck for Cosmopolitan Linen service, Chicago, Ill., and was an avid hunter and fisherman in Wisconsin.
Jim is preceded in death by father, Oscar Sorenson, a step-brother, Kenneth Sorenson and nephew, Adam Downen.

He is survived by son, Jimmy Sorenson; daughters, Dionne and Cory Sorenson; mother, Arnis Ames; brother, John (Shirley) Sorenson; sisters, Renee Sorenson and Wendy (Keith) Downen, step-brother, Terry Coglan; step-sisters, Marilee (Ed) Wright and Glenda Deane, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held in Ogema on March 19, 2016 at the Baptist Church located at W5091State Rd 86 starting at 12 p.m.
