Bielke, Charlotte (Rust) Johnson (10 FEB 1913 - 19 MAR 2011)
Charlotte Bielke, age 98, of the Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Medford,
passed away on Saturday, March 19 at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Medford
where she had resided for the past 1½ years.
Private family only services will be held Monday, March 21, with Rev. James
Krueger officiating.
Interment will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
She was born on February 10, 1913, at the Township of Medford, to Kurt and
Pauline (Thut) Rust.
Charlotte attended Township of Medford elementary schools and was a member of
the 1931 class of Medford High School.
She was first married on June 9, 1933, at Woodstock, IL to Carl A. Johnson. He
preceded her in death on November 11, 1967. Her second marriage was on August 1,
1979, at Medford to Carl H. Bielke. He preceded her in death February 17, 1996.
She worked most of her life as a housewife and mother. She worked as a nurse’s
aid at Memorial Hospital for 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed many
different activities and socializing with family and friends. Charlotte was a
member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford and its Ladies of Immanuel;
TOPS; She attended the Medford Sr. Citizens Center years ago.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Elaine (Bill) Paulson of Medford; Marilyn
(Dick) Miller of Medford; Charlie (Darlene) Johnson of Withee; 7 grandchildren;
11 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, Kurt and Pauline (Thut) Rust; siblings, Kurt,
Walt, Rudolph and Fred Rust; Ruth Rust; Pauline Wulf; Margaret Howe; Emma
Rashott.
