On Saturday, February 27, 1960, Miss Wanda M. Francel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Francel, Milwaukee, became the bride of Orville W. Schwarze, Milwaukee,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schwarze, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), at a 2:30 p.m.
ceremony in the Rose of Lima Catholic Rectory, Milwaukee. Rev. Arthur J.
Baertlein, pastor, officiated.
A white chiffon street length dress styled with a scoop neckline was chosen by
the bride for her wedding. To complement her dress she wore a crown headpiece
and shoulder length veil and carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink
roses.
Miss Jan Francel of Milwaukee attended her sister as maid of honor and wore a
light blue chiffon street length dress. With it she wore a wrist corsage of
white carnations and pink roses and a blusher veil headpiece in matching light
blue color.
Jim Francel of Stevens Point, brother of the bride, was best man.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the maid of honor.
The former Miss Francel attended Marshfield schools and graduated from Columbus
High School. She has been employed as receptionist at the Ropahn and Molaney Co.
in Milwaukee. Mr. Schwarze graduated from Greenwood High School and works at
Allis Chalmers, Milwaukee, where they will reside at 3108 W. State St.
