Roy and Marianne Ashbeck, owners of the Loyal Gable Store, have been in business
one year in Loyal, and since they never held a Grand Opening, are combining it
with their First Anniversary Sale this weekend. Free coffee and homemade cookies
for everyone on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 24, 25, and 26, that
stop in their store. In addition to the free coffee and cookies, they have a
free gift for everyone who makes a purchase during their special sale. To show
that the Ashbecks “Like It Here,” they are giving away $200 in prizes to those
who come in and register, including a set of tires, a buffet set of Corningware
dishes, a table radio, a hand vacuum cleaner, a Clairol hair setter, a new
Hiawatha Bike, and many, many more. There will be values galore in the store
with $20 to anyone buying a new refrigerator or freezer during the sale, and
anyone needing a lawnmower will be interested in their special deal where the
customer names the price. The Ashbecks are happy with their first year in
business and want everyone in the area to come in and help them celebrate.
