CEC Edwin G. Kippenhan of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was graduated with honors
recently from the Department of Specialist Training, Army Signal School. He
scored among the top seven in a class of 193 enlisted men.
A graduate of Greenwood High School in 1958, he entered the Navy in November
1960 and took his basic training at San Diego, California. The son of Mr. and
Mrs. Alvin G. Kippenhan, Greenwood, he is married to the former Kathryn Cobb,
Scotia, New York.
Classed by educators as one of the finest technical training facilities in the
country, the Signal School offers a wide variety of courses in
communications/electronics field. Its high academic standards ensure that
students are well prepared to meet the challenges and fulfill the
responsibilities of their new assignments in today’s Army.
