Jasperson, Ruby (17 JAN 1914 – 28 SEP 1970)
Mrs. Irvin (Ruby) Jasperson, 56, died at 1:50 a.m. September 28, 1970, at her
home after a lingering illness. She was the wife of the owner of Jasperson
Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, with
the rev. William Rubusch officiating. Burial will be made in the West Spencer
Cemetery.
The former Ruby
Holmberg was born January 17, 1914 at St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, and was
married to Irvin Jasperson June 23, 1934, in Centuria, Wisconsin. After
their marriage they lived at Barron until 1942, when they moved to Cambridge, Minnesota. They returned to Barron in 1946 and lived there until 1958, at which time
they
purchased the funeral home and moved to Spencer, where she had lived since.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Women’s Guild and the
Spencer Women’s Club.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Keith Jasperson, San Francisco,
California; and Kim, at home; a sister, Mrs. Emil Dahlstrom, Minneapolis,
Minnesota; a brother, Rev. Marvin Holmberg, Orin, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
