Airman Thomas L. Luchterhand, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Luchterhand, Rt. 2,
Spencer, Wisconsin, has graduated with honors at Sheppard AFB, Texas, from the
training course for U.S. Air Force aircraft mechanics.
Airman Luchterhand, now trained to maintain and service reciprocating engine
aircraft and aircraft systems, is being assigned to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, for
duty in a unit of the Alaskan Air Command, which guards the Arctic air
approaches to North America.
A 1966 graduate of Loyal High School, the airman attended Wisconsin State
University and Milwaukee School of Engineering.
His wife, Joyce, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Weigel, Rt. 5,
Marshfield, Wisconsin.
