Klisiewicz, Rhonda M. (20 May 1957 - 23 March 2016)
Rhonda M. Klisiewicz, age 58, of rural Stanley, died Thursday at home with her
family by her side under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born May 20,
1957, in Stanley to Fritz and Evelyn (Bruha) Kuehni. Rhonda grew up in the area
and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1975. On January 28, 1978, she
was united in marriage to Donald Klisiewicz.
She was an amazing wife, mom, and grandma who farmed along-side her husband on
the family farm. She enjoyed her home: planting flowers, crafting, and making
memories with the grandkids. Rhonda dedicated her time and energy to supporting
her family and carrying on the family traditions. Although in recent years she
had health challenges, her smile and strength carried through to her last days.
She is dearly loved by many and will be forever missed by her faithful dog, Sam.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Donald of Stanley; her mother,
Evelyn Kuehni of Stanley; her children: Stacy (David) Jauquet of Luxemburg,
Michelle (Randy) Selzler of Spring Valley and Jess (Amanda) Klisiewicz of
Stanley; eight grandchildren: Emma, Blake, Alayna, Dylan, Lydia, Layla, Stella
and Landon; her siblings: Steve (Cheryl) Kuehni and Sue (Randy) Eslinger both of
Stanley, Debra (Dan) Ludovissie of Champlin, MN and Randy (Jodie) Kuehni of
Cadott; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, Fritz; her brother Dennis “Bear”
Kuehni; and father/mother-in-law, Joseph and Stella Klisiewicz.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Holy
Family Catholic Church in Stanley with Father Allan Slowiak officiating. Burial
will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery-Huron. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Plombon Funeral Home and Friday from 10:00
a.m. until time of departure to church at the funeral home.
