Sorry to have missed John Neuman’s 70th birthday. Belated Happy Birthday, John!

Mrs. Bob Anderson told of search for Farm Bureau Queen candidates, and workshop for the ladies on October 31 at Wausau in the Holiday Inn.

Harold Florey elected delegates to state convention in November at Wisconsin Dells.

Guests during the week at the Joe Bymers home included Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Oestreich of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voelker and Mr. and Mrs. Gil Bymers, both of Marshfield.

The Walter Nelson boy, who had an accident Sunday, is not a patient at any hospital, but was checked over and released.

Edward Vanderhoof is helping out at the Joe Bymers home.

Y to Chili, H From Y to V intersection, and K south of Loyal to Noeldner farm, or former Bertz farm, are still not open to traffic.

Mrs. Duane Pachal gave a birthday party for Arla on her 13th birthday Thursday. Guests were Karen and Sharon Pachal, and Lorena Kurz. The girls enjoyed games with prizes and supper. It was a combination party for the Pachals’s 16th wedding anniversary. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ehlert and Rueben of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Goucher of Spencer and Mrs. Frank Pachal of Loyal, Janet and Duane opened their gifts before lunch. An old fashioned gabfest was enjoyed.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennack and Laura Luchterhand attended the Senior Citizens picnic on Sunday.

Mrs. Mary Redig held a toy party on Tuesday afternoon at her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz entertained Ron Amacher of Withee and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weber and Mick of Rozelville, Sunday afternoon. The Webers stayed for supper to celebrate Mrs. Weber’s birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalf took care of the Eugene Schmidtke girls while they went duck hunting over the weekend and came home with 5 ducks on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Greaser took Mr. and Mrs. Harold Florey to supper at Village Plaza on Friday evening in Spencer.
