Judnic, Ruth M. (Zuther) (27 DEC 1921 - 19 MAR 2016)
Ruth M. Judnic, age 94, of 850 Vega Lane, Medford, died Saturday, March 19 at
her home in the City of Medford.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 23 at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating.
Interment will be at the Chelsea Community Cemetery, Township of Chelsea.
Pallbearers will be Terry Nau, James Judnic, Mark Hull, Steve Strebig, Gary and
Steve Fleegel.
Visitation will be at 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Wednesday,
March 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church, W5334 Dassow Avenue, Medford.
Ruth was born on December 27, 1921 at Kewaunee County, WI, to George and
Mathilda (Prahl) Fleegel. She attended Highland School, Town Greenwood, Taylor
County.
Her marriage was on April 10, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Chelsea to Carl
E. Judnic. He preceded her in death September 27, 2000.
Prior to her marriage, she did housework in the Medford area and worked in
Milwaukee for a period of time. After marriage, they farmed in the Township of
Little Black from 1950 to 1977. She then moved to Medford and worked in the
kitchen at Memorial Hospital as a baker and cooks helper until her retirement in
1996. She enjoyed yardwork, cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, snowmobiling,
the Packers & Brewers. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Arlene Mashack of Montello, WI; many sisters and
brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and God Daughter,
JoAnn Zeinemann of Plymouth, WI.
She is predeceased by her parents, George and Mathilda (Prahl) Fleegel; siblings
Alvin, George and Ervin Fleegel, Marion Dassow and Verna Dassow.
