Lemmer, Marvin "Marv" L. (19 APR 1950 - 24 MAR 2016)
Marvin "Marv" L. Lemmer, 65, Marathon died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his home.
He was born April 19, 1950 in Wausau, son of the late Aloys and Francis (Hornung)
Lemmer.
On June 19, 1971 he married Janet M. Johnson at St. Mary’s Catholic Church,
Wausau. She survives.
For more than 43 years Marv was a production foreman at Regal Beloit in Wausau
and he also raised ginseng in the town of Marathon for many years. Marv enjoyed
hunting, fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers and also NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Lemmer, Marathon, his children, Jayson (Lanette)
Lemmer, Weston and Jeremy (Jill) Lemmer, Marathon, two grandchildren, Jaxon and
Jade Lemmer, his siblings, Norman (Mary Ann) Lemmer, Marathon, Doris (Conrad)
Heil, Wausau, Jimmy (Karla) Lemmer, Athens, Ronald Lemmer, Merrill, George
Lemmer, Ringle, Marlene Handrick, Wausau and Barb (Robert) Murkowski, Edgar and
many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon is in charge of arrangements.
