Hills, Mr./Mrs. Alfred Sr. (40th – 26 NOV 1970)

A surprise celebration was held on Saturday evening in honor of the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hills Sr. of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). The couple, who were married on November 26, 1930, were surprised by a party held at the Hills Brothers Bowling Alley in Loyal, which was hosted by their children.

Those from out of town who attended the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Sinclair, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hills, Vesper; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Coates and Charles, Calvin and Sharonette Coates; also friends from Almond, Dr. and Mrs. Eldon Hills and family, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. David Hills, Mike Hills, Milwaukee; and Colleen Smith, Merrill. Many friends and relatives from Loyal and the surrounding area also attended.
