Meinhardt, Mr./Mrs. Clarence (Silver – 5 DEC 1970)
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meinhardt were honored at their 25th wedding anniversary
celebration party held at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood on Saturday
evening, November 28th, 1970. About 175 friends and relatives attended the
event. Music for dancing was furnished by Lyle Miller of Neillsville.
Clarence Meinhardt and Vera Buchholz were married by the late Rev. Charles
Taylor at the United Methodist Church in Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) on December 5,
1945. Their attendants, all of which were present at the gathering Saturday
evening, were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meinhardt, Miss Arlene Buchholz, and Mr. Dale
Horn. The Meinhardts are the parents of one son, Ronald, who is presently in the
Band Director at Assumption High School in Wis. Rapids.
Those from out of town who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meinhardt and
Douglas of Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Dan Buchholz and Arlene, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
young and Bob Jr., Mr. and Mrs. “Hap” Weyer, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle
Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Wally Brey, Neillsville; Mr.a nd Mrs. Duane Horn, La
Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Potocnik, Owen; P.M. and Mrs. Don Bersell, Chili;
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Potocnik, Owen; Postmaster and Mrs. Don Bersell, Chili; Mr.
and Mrs. Nyle Creed, Unity’ Postmaster and Mrs. Clarence Dolan, Abbotsford; Mr.
Kenneth Henderson, Elk Mound; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Nirva, Mr. and Mrs. Arlan
Offord, both of Withee; Postmaster and Mrs. Mike Steiber, and Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Reineking, both of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Smith of Fox Lake; Mr. and
Mrs. Raymond Westpfahl, Mrs. Luann Marten and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Lamb, all of
Tomah, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas of Willard.
