Gordee, Stella (1896 - 20 May 1974)

The funeral services for Mrs. Harry Gordee, 77, of Greenwood, who died May 20 at the Marshfield Convalescent Home, were held Thursday at 11 a.ml at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. David Wenger officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The pallbearers were all grandsons of the deceased and were David, Allen, Harry, Kenneth, Michael, Randall, Richard and Robert Gordee.

The Congregation sand, “Hallelujah Jesus lives,” “Hope is Built on Nothing less than Jesus,” and “Love Divine all Love Excelling” with Miss Amber Nirva as organist.

Among the people from away who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rear and family, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Biernat and family, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Gordee and family, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Gordee and family of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Gordee and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gordee of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Gordee and family, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gordee and family, Dave and Kenneth Gordee, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gordee and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gordee and family of Marshfield; Mrs. Kay Travis and family, Miss Connie Alperstett, and Mrs. Carol Jefferson of Madison and other relatives from Viroqua and from the surrounding communities.
