Kocher, Laura (23 SEP 1886 – 10 JUL 1960)
Miss Laura Kocher, daughter of the late Louie and Mary (Roherbanz) Kocher, was
born September 23, 1886 in Manitowoc County. Here she received her education and
grew to womanhood. In 1912 she came with her parents to Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.), and settled on a farm southeast of Greenwood, where she lived until 1943,
when she moved to Marshfield.
Miss Kocher passed away at her home at 1803 East 4th Street, Marshfield, on
Sunday, July 10, 1960.
Funeral services were held at the Hanson Funeral Chapel, Marshfield, on
Wednesday, July 13th at 1:30 p.m. Christian Science rites were conducted by Mrs.
Wm. Conway. Burial was made in the cemetery at Greenwood.
During the services Mrs. Harold Zalichek, accompanied by Mrs. R.R. Williams at
the organ, sang "In Heavenly Love Abiding" and "From Sense to Soul."
Pallbearers were Frank Woldt, Ralph Kocher, James Koscher, Don Kocher, Walter
Hartung and Gordon Chuppar.
She is survived by one brother, Fred Kocher, Milwaukee, and two sisters, Misses
Cora and Ella Kocher, both of Marshfield.
Her parents, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death
