Kuehni, Evelyn E. (30 December 1925 - 7 April 2016)
Evelyn E. Kuehni, age 90, of Stanley, died on Thursday April 7, 2016, at Country
Terrace of Stanley, under the care of Heartland Hospice. She was born on
December 30, 1925, in Cazenovia, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Albert and
Gertrude (Escher) Bruha. She grew up there and married Frederick Kuehni in St.
Paull, MN on June 14, 1952. The couple farmed in the Town of Colburn for many
years.
Evelyn worked for August-Lotz Company in Boyd and also worked for many years at
the Holy Family Hall. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting and spending
time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Steve (Cheryl) Kuehni and Sue (Randy) Eslinger
of Stanley, Debra (Dan) Ludovissie of Champlin, MN and Randy (Jodie) Kuehni of
Cadott; her son-in-law, Don Klisiewicz of Stanley; her grandchildren: Stephanie
(Terry ) Nichols, Scott (Jill) Kuehni, Steven Kuehni, Shawn (Brandy) Kuehni,
Jenny Ludovissie, Nikki (Geoff) Provenzale, Derek Kuehni, Kirsten (Justin)
Troyan, Kaikt.lin Witt, Holly Eslinger, Kelli Eslinger, Stacy (David) Jauquet,
Michelle (Randy) Selzler and Jesse (Amanda) Klisiewicz; and 17
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Ray Bruha of
Nashville, TN, Louise Fronk of Reedsburg, WI, Irene (Pat) Walsh of Plain, WI,
Marie (Jim) Brady of Port Washington, WI and Clarence (Patti) Bruha of
Cazenovia, WI.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fritz; son, Dennie “Berar”
Kuehni; and daugher, Rhonda Klisiewicz.
A funeral Mass was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at St. Joseph’s
Catholic Church, Boyd with Father William Felix officiating. Burial followed in
Oakland Cemetery, Stanley. Visitation was held on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
at the Plombon Funeral Home and again from 9:30 a.m. Monday morning at the
funeral home until departure to church.
