Englebretson, Emil (23 SEP 1883 – 4 SEP 1960)
Emil Englebretson was born September 23, 1883, in Gudbraudaleu, Norway, and came
to this country with his parents when he was four years of age. He lived in the
Loyal and Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) vicinities until 1930, when he moved to
North English, Iowa.
In December 1941 he moved to California and had resided there since that time.
He leaves to mourn his departure from this live, two daughters, Mrs. Paul
(Wanda) Cook of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Robert (Betti) Harris, Oakland, Calif.;
and one son Gordon of San Leandro, Calif., and a brother Jim of Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Olaf Krogness and
Mrs. Martin Johnston.
Funeral services were held at the Turner Funeral Parlors at Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
and he was laid to rest in the Cedar Rapids cemetery.
