Edna L. Reyzer, age 87, of Abbotsford, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at
The Waterford in Colby.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 14,
2016 at Saint Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Father Peter Manickam
will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Town of Hixon.
Edna was born December 17, 1928, the daughter of George and Marie (Robertson)
Plantico in Denmark, WI.
She was united in marriage to Joseph C. Reyzer on June 24, 1948 at Saint
Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1989.
Edna farmed most of her life, including farms in Loyal and Curtiss areas with
her husband. She later worked at Mr. B's Restaurant until her retirement in
Abbotsford.
Edna was a member of Saint Bernard's Catholic Church. She liked gardening,
flowers, cooking, and taking care of her family.
Edna is survived by her five children: Gary (Ellen) Reyzer of MN, Joe Reyzer of
Abbotsford, Jeff (Pat) Reyzer of LA, Darlene (Jim) Kunze of Abbotsford and Rick
Reyzer of Abbotsford; four grandchildren: Matthew (Angie) Reyzer, Justin (Sadie)
Kunze, Emily (Ryan) Chart and Sarah (fiancé Scott McQuiston) Reyzer; two
step-grandchildren: Shawn Ridout and Patricia (Keith) Brown; four
great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren and three
step-great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Gilbert
Plantico of Wisconsin Rapids, a sister, Margie Miller of MN, nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; two brothers:
Elroy and Leo Plantico and a step-granddaughter, Amy Thibodeaux.
