Kurtinaitis, Genevieve Loretta (24 SEP 1960)
St. Mary's Catholic Church at Greenwood was the setting for the wedding
Saturday, September 24, 1960, of Miss Genevieve Loretta Kurtinaitis and Anthony
Vandy Suda. The Rev. Edward Hartung officiated at the 10 o'clock ceremony. The
junior choir of the church sang the High Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kurtinaitis of Thorp are the bride's parents, and Mr. and
Mrs. Anthony Suda, route 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), the groom's.
Entering the church on the arm of her father, the bride appeared in a lace and
tulle over satin gown in chapel length and fashioned with a Sabrina neckline and
long sleeves. Her shoulder length veil vell from a crown of seed pearsl and she
carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
Bridal aides were Mrs. Charles Suda of Greenwood, as matron of honor, and Mrs.
Stanley Suda, Willard, as bridesmaid. They wore ballerina length dresses of
coral colored lace and satin, with matching headpieces, and carried nosegays of
white carnations.
The groom's brother, Charles and Stanley Suda, were his attendants as best mana
nd groomsman, respectively. Another brother, John Suda, ushered the wedding
guests.
The bride is a graduate of Thorp High School and the groom attended Greenwood
schools. He is a farmer and they will make their home on R. 3, Greenwood.
