Saturday evening, October 1st, 1960, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Arch of Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.), entertained about 30 relatives at a supper party in honor of
the 80th birthday of Mike Podobnik, Sr. Mrs. Arch is a daughter.
Those present were: Mrs. Joseph Bandoz, Joliet, Ill.; Mrs. Gene Long, Chicago,
Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mendelson and family, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Val
Yurkovich and family, Willard; Mike Podobnik Jr., Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. August
Podobnik, Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Podobnik, Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony
Zupanc and family, Loyal.
It was the first time in 30 years that the Podobnik family was able to be
together.
