The York Center Youth Fellowship met Wednesday evening at the Warren Mechelke
home. A short business meeting was held. Plans were made for a sliding and
skating party to be held at the Mechelke home if weather is permissible. The
parents are invisted. Wieners and buns will be furnished by the families and the
group will furnish the balance.
Rhonda Winkel read the Bible verse Luke, Chapter 12, verse 8, which each member
is to learn.
Barbara Zvolena had charge of the games, which were “7 p” and “Pass the Penny.”
The next meeting will be held in the Elli Winkel home. After the meeting lunch
was served by the hostess.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Benedict and daughter Melody of Stevens Point were weekend
guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict.
Mr. and Mrs. Morvin Benedict and daughter Susan of Loyal visited Sunday with
Mrs. Helen Lawrence.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mechelke spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Holnbach at Loyal.
The nominating committee of the York Center United Methodist Church, Alvin Dahl
and Nyle Benedict, met Wednesday evening with Rev. Mickelson at the parsonage at
Loyal. Mrs. Nyle Benedict was also present.
