Campus Highlights (Students Attend Conf. - 2016)
Forty students from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire attended the National
Conference on Undergraduate Research April 7-9, 2016, at the University of North
Carolina at Asheville. Students represented UW-Eau Claire departments and units
of chemistry, communication sciences and disorders, honors, kinesiology,
mathematics, nursing, psychology, and social work.
Ashley Lato of Thorp presented, “The Synthesis and Characterization of Model
Complexes for the Metalloenzme Quercetin Dioxygenase.” Her faculty mentor is
Roslyn Theisen.
