Djubenski, Katherine (25 NOV 1883 – 9 JAN 1971)
Mrs. Katherine Djubenski, 87, of Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 10:15 p.m.
Saturday, January 9, 1971, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had
been admitted earlier that morning.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, at the Hill
Funeral Home in Greenwood, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in
Willard. Burial was made in Holy Family Parish Cemetery. The Rev. Michael
Mertens, pastor, officiated.
The former Katherine Jaranski was born November 25, 1883 in Poland. She came to
the U.S. in 1906 and settled in Michigan. She was married to Mike Djubenski, who
preceded her in death April 12, 1931. The couple came to Willard in 1913.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Oliver (Felicia) La Flex, Thorp; Mrs.
Elmer (Antosia) Orth, Greenwood; Mrs. Richard (Mary) Maslanka, Abbotsford, and
Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Zaliwaki, Elmhurst, Illinois; five sons, John and Roger,
Willard; Stanley, Thorp; Mike, McHenry, Illinois; and Andrew, Greenwood; and 22
grandchildren.
