Kronberger, John L. (15 APR 1885 – 12 JAN 1971)
A former Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, John Leonard Kronberger, 85, who has
been living in Auburn, California, died there Tuesday, January 12, 1971, at
Auburn Faith Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem
Lutheran Church. Rev. Robert Giles, Orland, California, officiated. Interment
was in the New Auburn District Cemetery.
He was born in Germany, April 15, 1885. At the age of five years he moved to
Wisconsin with his parents. He was married to the former Louise Mackgan at Fort
Atkinson, Wisconsin on March 8, 1916.
They farmed in the Loyal and Spencer areas until 1948, when they moved to
Corning, California. Two years ago they moved to Auburn, California.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, ray, Auburn, California; Laverne,
Greenwood, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.
