James R. Berrett, Spencer, and a graduate of the Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)
High School, is amon the 54 students at the University of Wisconsin who have
been awarded Sophomore honors or high honors for the excellence of their work in
the State University's College of Engineering.
Dean Kurt F. Wendt, in announcing the names of the engineering students who
earned honors or high honors, pointed out that honors awarded to those students
who have done a minimum of two year's work with not less than 60 credits
completed in the University, with a high grade point average resting between 3
and 4 grade point per credit of study taken. A grade point average of 4.00 would
mean perfect grades in all studies.
James, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Verland Berrett, was awarded Sophomore
honors.
