Michael Plautz, son of Mrs. Mary Djubenski, R. 1, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), who will receive the Elks Leadership Award, is president of the senior class and the Student Council. He has been elected by his classmates to serve as class president three of the four high school years. Michael is also an outstanding student, as he is salutatorian of this year's graduating class. He has won major letters in baseball and volleyball, and has been active in intramural sports as well. He has served on the school paper staff and is an editor of the school annual. Last year Michael was picked by the faculty to be one of the Greenwood representatives at Badger Boys State. The qualities considered in making this youth leadership award were leadership, citizenship appreciation, perseverance, resourcefulness, and sense of humor.
