Representatives from thirty west central Wisconsin high schools have entered in
the annual "Queen of the Springtime Contest" at Eau Claire, which will be
televised over WEAU-TV, Channel 13, at 9 p.m., Monday, March 13, 1961. The
contestants will model spring fashions furnished by Eau Claire apparel and shoe
stores. The winner receives a complete Spring Outfit with other prizes for
category winners.
Ardis Ampe will represent Greenwood High School. She was the local Homecoming
Queen. All of the contestants will be guests at a dinner preceding the contest.
A rehearsal will be held during the afternoon of the event.
