McKenna, Mr./Mrs. A.M. (Gold – 25 JAN 1961)
On January 25, 1961, Mr. and Mrs. A.M. McKenna marked their golden wedding
anniversary with a jubilee Mass celebrated by Rev. George L. Dum, C.S.C. in the
Chapel of Holy Cross Hall on the campus of the University of Portland. This was
followed by an anniversary supper in the University Commons.
Mr. and Mrs. McKenna are both from Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin. Mrs.
McKenna is the former Bertha J. Chadwick, and they were married January 25, 1911
in what was then the new Catholic church in Greenwood, Wisconsin.
They settled permanently in Portland, Oregon during World war I. They have two
children and three grandchildren.
