While reading a recent issue of the WIAA Bulletin, the local editor came across the following remarks made by Gene Wisner, coach at Waukesha High School:

"The coaches in the small schools often feel they cannot compete in the sport of volleyball. They either don't have the boys, the facilities or some other problem arises that kills the sport. I suggest I suggest you check Cy Buker's record at Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, over the past years, and contact him for some suggestions and ideas. Year after year he as a team in the running at the state tournament. How does he do it fellow coaches? --- With a lot of desire, ambition, and a love for the sport, that's how.

"What do you say we get behind a sport of this value and push it a little. Remember, one of the prime objectives of athletics should be carry over values. Volleyball has many."
