Larry Pakiz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz, Rt. 1, Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.), is the top speller in the Greenwood Community School District and
represented the district in the State Spelling Contest in Madison last Saturday.
Jean Hribar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Hribar, Rt. 2, Greenwood, was the
runner-up in the local spelling contest. Larry is in the sixth grade in the
Eaton Center School, and his teacher is Mrs. Joan Harder. Jean is in the 7th
grade in the Greenwood Community Junior High School and has Mrs. Belle Mazola
for her teacher.
