pompons. St. Mar’s Young lades choir sang the Mass.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, entered the church wearing a floor
length gown of silk organza and Chantilly lace over taffeta.
The fitted bodice had lace appliques on the portrait neckline and the bouffant
skirt had scalloped Chantilly lace appliqued on two tiers and re-embroidered
with iridescent sequins, the skirt ending in a full chapel sweep train.
The bridal veil of imported silk illusion was fingertip length and was attached
to an open crown of aurora borealis crystals and pearls.
She carried a white Missal topped with an orchid and stephanotis.
Miss Rebecca Peroshek, Eau Claire, as maid of honor, was attired in an avocado
ensemble, and Miss Jeanne Dallas, West Allis, and Miss Carol Syth, Marshfield,
the bridesmaids, wore cerise frocks. The velvet bodices had skirts of peau de
soie with empire styling. Their matching crowns had nose veils.
The attendants carried baskets of white pompons with ribbons and net matching
their outfits interwoven in the baskets.
Dale Brumbaugh, Greenwood, was best man, and Allen Fravert, Greenwood, and
Richard Watts, Eau Claire, were groomsmen. Ushering were George Syth and Vernon
Kuester.
A 12:30 dinner was served at St. Mary’s Hall to 175 guests. A reception was held
in the afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening a dance was
held at Silver Dome Ballroom, Neillsville.
The bride is a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School, the Greenwood High
