Holtz, Judith M. (Kohn) (31 OCT 1944 - 30 APR 2016)
Judith M. Holtz, age 71, of Stetsonville, passed away on Saturday, April 30,
2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, May
8, 2016 at the Holway Town Hall located at W8581 Cty. Rd A in Curtiss, WI 54422
Judith was born on October 31, 1944, in Medford, to John Lawrence and Kathryn
Emily (Baumann) Kohn.
She attended elementary school at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford and was
a 1962 graduate from Medford Area High School.
On October 6, 1962 she married the love of her life, Larry G. Holtz and he
survives.
When their oldest child was two, they moved to Beloit, Wisconsin where they
resided until 1992 when they moved back to the Stetsonville area. Judith loved
spending time with her loving husband, her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Her favorite singer was Elvis Presley. Judith loved to cook
for her family and was always trying a new recipe, which they didn’t mind at
all; and she liked to go fishing. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic
Church, Medford.
Judith is survived by her husband Larry G. Holtz, Stetsonville; Children Brian
(Sarah) Holtz of Owen, Douglas (Peggy) Holtz of Wausau, Steven Holtz of Colby
and Lisa Holtz of Medford; nine grandchildren Amber, Jesse, Nathan, Courtney,
Megan, Matt, Quintin, Alex and Douglas Jr.; nine great grandchildren Brayden,
Braxton, Brycen, Brynlee, Ayden, James, Ashlyn, Blake and Troy.
She is futher survived by siblings Rae Kohn of Medford, Donald (Elaine) Kohn of
Withee, John (Sheri) Kohn of Owen, Barb (Lawrence) Pinter of Abbotsford,
Marcella (John) Writz of Wausau, Jane (Herb) Sackmann of Florida and Mary Hansen
of Milwaukee.
Judith is predeceased by her parents, John Lawrence and Kathryn Emily (Baumann)
Kohn; sister-in-law Florette (Hutman) Kohn and brother-in-law Ralph Hansen.
Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with
arrangements.
